From the esteemed traditional British company Algha comes this handmade timeless classic.
White gold, also known in France as „gris" (grey gold), is a gold alloy originating from a mixture of metals like palladium. In contrast to sterling silver,
white gold does not tarnish over the years, and continues to retain its high brilliance.
During the 1920s Max Wiseman imported gold-plated frames as well as lenses from Germany to England. In 1932, he bought an entire factory in Rathenow,
moved it to London, and named it Algha.
The name Algha is derived from the ancient Greek: Alpha to the Omega - from the beginning to the end.
All Algha models are hand-crafted masterpieces of the highest quality, subject to multiple quality controls.
Although many have tried to copy this extremely successful Algha model, no one has managed to recreate its precision and perfection.
We have other models from Algha's Savile Row Collection!
